Oct. 23—GROTON — Navy, state and local officials on Wednesday celebrated the completion of a micro-grid at the naval submarine base, a project they said will make the base more energy resilient and serve as a model for other military installations across the country.
GROTON, Conn. – Naval Submarine Base New London (SUBASE) officially marked the completion of a more than decade long initiative to ensure energy resiliency and cut a ribbon ceremonially establishing a Micro-grid on the base, Wednesday, October 23.
