To configure a Base station, you can set its coordinate in two ways: Auto Geodetic Auto When the coordinates of base station are unknown, users can set the receiver to automatically positioning for a period of time and get the average value as the coordinates of the base station (similar as Survey-in mode of Ublox).
To power the base station from a power bank or PC. RTK base station has an SMA connector to connect an antenna. RTK base station does not include, but requires a good quality GPS/GNSS antenna. RTK base station supports full L1/L2/L5 bands.
The location is the actual environment in which the base station will be installed. Typically, this means outside in an open sky environment (e.g. on the roof of a building or in an empty field). Figure 2 shows a typical fixed installation of several antennas, including a VeraChoke and a VeraPhase 6000, on a roof.
Power Requirements: Base stations operate on 120V AC power rather than 12V DC, requiring either built-in power supplies or separate AC-to-DC converters. Size and Ergonomics: Designed for desktop use, these radios feature full-size controls, making operation more comfortable during extended sessions.
