Uzbekistan: Voltalia signs PPA for solar-wind-battery hybrid,
A state-owned power company in Uzbekistan has signed a PPA with Voltalia for a project combining solar PV, wind and battery storage.
By 2030, Uzbekistan aims to source over 40% of its electricity from renewables, demonstrating its commitment to sustainability. The plan also includes advancing energy storage, with a 300 MW lithium-ion system debuting in 2024 and a goal of 4.2 GW storage capacity by 2030. The Role of Energy Storage in Renewable Energy
It now embarks on mass production of BYD new energy passenger cars for consumers in Uzbekistan. Initially, this commences with two of BYD's best-selling PHEV models and their related parts, namely the BYD SONG PLUS DM-i CHAMPION (C-Segment SUV) and the BYD CHAZOR CHAMPION (Sedan) both equipped with pioneering BYD Super DM Technology.
