Solarcontainer Lets You Set Up a Mobile Solar
Austria-based Solarcont has just launched Solarcontainer, a shipping container-sized device that lets you set up a mobile solar power
The innovative and mobile solar container contains 196 PV modules with a maximum nominal power rating of 130kWp, and can be extended with suitable energy storage systems. The lightweight, ecologically-friendly aluminium rail system guarantees a mobile solution with rapid availability. at full power.
Solarcont, an Austrian startup, has unveiled Solarcontainer, a portable PV generator that can function as a mobile solar plant independent of the electrical grid. In remote areas, it can guarantee stable power supplies and even almost replace public grids with strong power fluctuations, as well as diesel generators.
The solarfold Container is an immaculately-detailed and sophisticated plug & play system for a wide range of applications. The mobile drive system consists of a flexible drive unit mounted on traverses and can also be used for other solarfold PV power plants.
SolarCont GmbH is an Austrian joint venture set up in 2022 by container technology specialist Gföllner and Austrian PV system supplier Hilber Solar.
